So apparently, I’m a dog person. 🙂 The kids’ Christmas gift came a little early this year… We already love her so much (even though she’s up more at night than either of our babies were)! These are from Thanksgiving Day and our trip down to Bardstown to adopt her.

Penny was one of five puppies that were dropped off at the rescue center in the middle of the night with their mama. 🙁 She was the first one to be adopted, so we got to meet all her siblings which was fun! This little guy was SUPER cute! And of course Noah was right in the middle of the puppies from the moment we got there!
Emma was a little more overwhelmed and timid, but she handled it really well! I was so proud of both of them!

Penny rode home on my lap and was so quiet and content almost the whole time (a 2 hour and 20 minute drive)! The only sound she did make was when she was dreaming. 🙂 AND she kept the towel dry for the ride home – double win.
Since the light at the foster family’s house was awful and it was much crazier with all 5 puppies, I took a minute to grab a shot of the kids with Penny when we got to my family’s house for Thanksgiving dinner. My sister, Abbey, was head over heels in about 10 seconds.
Love.
